Report hazardous spots whilst climbing

A rockfall blocking the way, a loose bolt, a fallen tree – anyone climbing outdoors must expect to encounter obstacles.

So you don’t make the trip for nothing

The hazard reporting centre compiles all closures and hazards at Rock Climbing Areas and Via Ferrata/Iron Ways in Tirol in one place.

Just check before you set off – then you’ll know where there are currently closures and hazards. And you’ll also see as soon as they’ve been cleared and climbing can resume without any problems.

Spot hazards – and report them straight away

Support the climbing community and report obstacles directly via the online form. It takes two minutes:

  1. Select the type of report: ‘Immediate danger’, ‘Safety notice’ or ‘Other’
  2. Specify the climbing discipline and location
  3. Enter your contact details
  4. Click on “Submit hazard report”

The report goes straight to the technical manager at Climbers Paradise, Mike Gabl. He forwards it to the relevant person in the affected region so that action can be taken – and at the same time ensures that the warning is displayed on the website.

A quality management system unlike any other

The sooner hazards are identified and reported, the sooner the relevant authorities can respond. This creates a quality management system supported jointly by climbing regions and climbers.

It’s not for nothing that we call Tirol ‘Climbers Paradise’. Help ensure it stays that way – and report any hazards as soon as you spot them.
