Nauders Climbing Area – Tirolean Oberland – Kaunertal

Outdoor region in the border triangle

The Tirolean Oberland, a region straddling three countries and home to Nauders and the Kaunertal, offers a wealth of climbing opportunities – particularly for Beginners. Small but excellent granite crag areas with lower Levels of Difficulty and an alpine atmosphere are a special feature of Tirol.

As well as beginners, families in particular enjoy climbing here.

Sport climbing, Multi-Pitch Climbing, Ice Climbing, Via Ferrata/Iron Way, a forest rope park and 4 Family Friendly Rock Climbing Areas make the Tyrolean Oberland region, including the Kaunertal and Nauders, a special holiday experience.

But don’t worry – even expert climbers will find plenty to enjoy in the Oberland. The Laimo Rock Climbing Area offers routes with a Level of Difficulty ranging from 6b to 8c.
