Emotions – the spirit of the mountains – arise where our feet touch the earth, conveyed through the soles of our shoes. Every well-worn shoe holds stories: the peaks we’ve climbed, the routes we’ve conquered and the emotions that have accompanied us along the way. Dust, sun, earth and rock leave their mark. Yet it is precisely these marks that make your shoes unique.
Extending the lifespan of products is the best way to protect the environment. Less resource consumption, less waste. That is why SCARPA designs its shoes so that they can be resoled.
How can performance and sustainability be combined? With:
The aim: shoes that are not only high-performance but also long-lasting. After all, a shoe that will accompany you for many years must be robust, durable and, above all, capable of being resoled. But even the best sole will eventually show signs of wear. Does that mean you have to say goodbye to them? No! SCARPA has a better solution for you: the SCARPA shoe resoling service.
1. Check the SCARPA website to see if your shoes can be resoled.
2. Find a SCARPA partner shop near you.
3. Take your shoes there – the partner shop will check their condition and provide an initial assessment.
4. Your shoes will be sent to SCARPA’s headquarters in Asolo.
5. Experts will remove the worn sole and replace it with a brand-new original sole.
6. Your re-soled climbing shoes will be sent back to the partner shop.
7. Collect them and set off on new adventures!
Can I have the soles replaced on any SCARPA boot?
No. Check the SCARPA website to see if your model features the relevant symbol for resole. For older models, SCARPA’s customer service team will be happy to help.
Can I still have my climbing shoes resoled if there’s a hole in the leather?
No. SCARPA only resoles climbing shoes if the upper is undamaged. Unfortunately, once there is a hole in the leather, resole is no longer possible.
Which sole is used?
SCARPA uses the original sole that was fitted to your new shoe – this ensures your shoe retains its full performance.
