The Tannheimer Tal valley in northern Tirol is renowned for its peaks, such as the Gimpel, Hochwiesler and Rote Flüh, offering routes of all Levels of Difficulty, as well as some of Tyrol’s most beautiful Via Ferratas. Numerous sport climbing routes and multi-pitch climbs, two waterfalls for Ice Climbing and a high ropes course attract climbing enthusiasts to the ‘most beautiful high valley in Europe’. And this has been the case for a very long time, as climbing has a long tradition here: several routes were first established on the south-facing walls – which rise to heights of up to 200 metres – as early as the turn of the century, and many of the old routes have since been refurbished.

But the Tannheimer Tal valley also has plenty to offer away from the crags: sport, nature, Tradition and enjoyment – a wide range of offers is guaranteed in any case.
