In the immediate vicinity of the Geierwand, construction activities and blasting operations are taking place for the Imst–Haiming power plant. Please be aware of potential noise levels and vibrations.
Small climbing garden, set up by Reinhard Schiestl, among others, in the late 80s. Sloped slab wall with some cracks and short overhangs.
Due to hunting from 31st of October till 31st of December is not allowed to climb.

Access
From the parking lot after the Raftingalm, you briefly follow the Apfelstrasse towards Silz. Soon you turn left and cross the highway (overpass). Now straight up to the climbing garden or via ferrata (after the overpass, continue left to the multi-pitch routes).
Journey
Leave the A12 motorway at the Ötztal exit and drive to the roundabout at the beginning of the Ötztal. From the roundabout follow the B171 towards Haiming. After 2.7 km, turn at the roundabout into the town of Haiming. After the Inn bridge, turn right and continue for about 1 km to the “Geierwand” car park.
Parking
In Haiming, follow the signs for “Outdoor Center”, cross the Inn and turn right onto Apfelstrasse. You will soon reach the large parking lot.
