The Achensee 5-summit via ferrata offers steep ferrata passages and hiking sections over a length of 2km. It connects 5 peaks with routes of varying difficulty.
Serves as a connection between the via ferratas Seekarlspitze and Hochiss in the Rofan mountains, protected by wire cables.

Access
From the top station, follow the Grubersteig towards the Rofanspitze, at the Grubascharte turn left to the Spieljoch. Dangerous in wet conditions due to steep grassy sections!
Descent
Descend on the grassy ridge of the Spieljoch and follow the yellow trail marking signs back to the top station of the Rofan cable car.
Public transport
Take the regional bus (line 8332, 4080 or 390) to the Rofan cable car in Maurach. Exit at the bus-stop: Maurach a. A. Rofan Seilbahn. Ascent with the Rofan cable car.

The valley station of the Rofan cable car is located directly on the Achensee federal road B181, above the centre of Maurach.
