Access
From the top station of the Rofan cable car in Maurach, walk past the Mauritzalm and follow the path to the Rofanspitze. Walk past the Grubastiege climbing area to a junction. Follow the path to the left as it descends into the depression.
Public transport
Take the regional bus to Maurach (line 8332, 4080 or 390) and get off at the "Maurach a. A. Rofan Seilbahn" stop.
Journey
The valley station of the Rofan cable car is situated just off the B181 Achensee main road, above the centre of Maurach. The ascent is by cable car.
Parking
Car park Rofan Seilbahn 1 or 2 (paid parking; Rofan cable car passengers receive a refund at the ticket office).
