route length: 6 m - 55 m
difficulty: 3 - 8

The climbing garden in Zams, generally known to locals as Affenhimmel, is one of the largest in the Tyrolean Oberland with over 300 routes.

Description

Climbing is very diverse: there are plates, overhangs, cracks, chimneys and steep wall climbs. Due to the south-facing location, it is often possible to climb here on sunny winter days. As there are still high walls above the climbing garden, watch out for stone chips. In Starkenbach you shouldn't do without a helmet.
