Beautiful slab that has suffered water erosion on the way to the Rofanspitze. Suitable for children and beginners looking for moderately difficult grade levels. The routes require good footwork and are ideal for getting used to slab climbing.
Take the regional bus to Maurach (lines 8332, 4080 or 390) and get off at the "Maurach a. A. Rofan Seilbahn" stop.
The valley station of the Rofan cable car is situated just off the B181 Achensee main road, above the centre of Maurach. The ascent is by cable car.
Car park Rofan Seilbahn 1 or 2 (paid parking; Rofan cable car passengers receive a refund at the ticket office).
