Qualityassurance is a key area of our work. Together with our technical delegate, we assess and inspect Rock Climbing Areas and Rock Climbing Gardens against standardised Quality Criteria. In this way, we ensure transparency for our guests and support the regions in the ongoing development of their offers. Further details can be found in the Rock Climbing Area Handbook.  

With its Handbook for Rock Climbing Areas and Via Ferrata/Iron Ways, Climbers Paradise provides its member regions with an important working tool. The handbook covers legal issues, recommendations on maintenance and upkeep, and the correct use of materials, thereby contributing to greater safety and quality in climbing areas.

We provide our guests with free topos, route descriptions, GPS data and comprehensive information on the climbing areas. Our aim is to enable climbers to plan their routes reliably and to a high standard, and to make access to Tirol’s most beautiful climbing areas as easy as possible.

Through the ‘Climbing with Respect’ initiative, we have been committed to promoting responsible and nature-friendly climbing since 2023. Through guidelines, information resources, events and videos, we encourage a respectful approach towards nature, landowners and other user groups. At the same time, we make an important contribution to visitor management and to safeguarding our climbing areas for the long term.
