Access
From Galtür to the Jamtalhütte - 3 hours. Alternatively, the hut can also be reached by mountain bike (e-mountain bike). There is even a taxi to the hut. From the hut you can reach the Jam Block in 2 minutes and the ‘Hüttenblick’ climbing garden in 10 minutes.
To the Hüttenblick climbing garden: Follow the path to the Kronenjoch for about 2 minutes and then branch off to the left onto a path that is barely visible at first (‘Steinmännchen’). After a few minutes, this leads to the climbing garden already visible from the hut.

Departure from Galtür village square at 7:30, 08:15, 09:30, 16:30
(Registration with Taxi Zangerl by 20:00 the day before +43 5443 8200)
Price: € 10,- per passenger
Car park in Galtür costs € 7 per day and vehicle.

Arrival / Access via Tyrol:
By public transport (ÖBB) to Landeck, then by bus (Line 4240) to Galtür. (Bus stop: Galtür Post Office) Arrival / Access via Vorarlberg (only possible in summer):
Ascent:
On the A12 to Landeck, then on the B188 through the Paznaun Valley to Galtür.

On the A14 to Bludenz, then on the B188 via Schruns (Montafon) to Partenen. Continue via the Silvretta High Alpine Road – Bielerhöhe to Galtür.
By public transport (ÖBB) via Bludenz to the terminus at Schruns, then by bus (Line 85) to Galtür. (Bus stop: Galtür Post Office)
Ascent:
Galtür village square - Hotel Gasthof zum Rössle across the bridge - right into the Jamtal - Alpe Egg - Menta Alm - Scheiben Alm - following the path to the Jamtalhütte. (Walking time: 03:15 h)
Access by car all day to the barrier at Menta Alp. Before 9:00 a.m. and after 4:30 p.m., access by car to Scheibenalp is possible.
