Werner Nothdurfter, Alexander Bubik and Kurt Bubik started to establish the climbing garden at the beginning of the 1990s. Unfortunately, the climbing garden sank into oblivion until 2010.
Then - in Spring 2010 - Patti Rupprich and Kurt Bubik removed the old material and newly drilled all tours and equipped it with state-of-the-art stainless steel material. They even complemented the climbing garden with new routes.
The very steep and up to 35m high, overhanging wall offers interesting, demanding climbs for every climber from levels of difficulty starting at 4a up to 9a.

Journey
From the centre of Imst (Sparkasse) drive towards Hoch-Imst until the rear Sonneck-parking space (to the left of the entrance of the ski lift) --> free parking.
From there you follow the forest path and after ca. 200 meters you pass the feeding place of wild animals. After another 200 meters, you reach a wooden bridge which leads through the upper part of the Rosengartenschlucht (gorge). After 10 meters (at the sign) you turn right into the Kofnertal. Follow the streambed for ca. 10 minutes and overcome the blocking against debris via the help of iron ladders.
