The Kaisertal with the climbing - base Hans-Berger-Haus is certainly a Mecca of the climbing scene. The Kleine Halt also undoubtedly offers some highlights of multi-pitches. Most of the multi-pitches are on the north and northwest face. Routes can also be found on the east face, the Totensessel, the west face and on the southwest side.

Parking lot Kaiseraufstieg in Ebbs-Eichelwang. Parking fee: 3,50€/day (as of 2021). Parking tickets for several days must be obtained at the inn "Basislager Harmonie".

The 800-meter high northwest face of the Kleine Halt is a highlight in the Kaisertal. Some of the longest routes of the Kaisergebirge lead through the wall. Names like "Plattendirettisisima" , "Gatto Nero" or "Aquafresca" are definitely terms you know in the alpine climbing scene.
