The Kaiser-Max via ferrata was one of the first pure ‘sport’ via ferratas in Austria. In the second part, 100 metres of almost vertical, low-footfall slab terrain await strong climbers - if you lose your courage or strength after the first part, you can easily cross over to Maximillian's Grotto and descend without difficulty.  The use of climbing shoes is advisable, as is the mastery of a clean climbing technique. An absolutely advisable via ferrata for professionals, which is also accessible almost all year round due to its south-facing location.
