The climb begins with a slightly ascending and descending traverse. Walking terrain leads to a 10m high iron ladder below a small rock structure. Then you cross to the left to a small crack, which is secured with struts. This ends the insurance and one climbs through light forest to a fork in the path. Turn left in one minute to the summit cross at Häringer Pölven (1477m) with a beautiful view of the Inn valley. To the right you reach the Mittagskogel (1595m) at the summit plateau in about half an hour.
From Reith follow the signs of the Pölven-Rundwanderweg and the signs to the Lengau chapel. Slightly uphill along the slope to Lengau (large farm on saddle). Then follow an asphalt road slightly downhill until a steep steep path branches off to the right through the forest (signposts). Through the forest uphill (yellow-black triangular markings) to the beginning of the insurance (sign).
Access to the Sinwel via ferrata is also possible from Bad Häring (Burg district) (1.5 hours to entry).
Like ascent, but better as round trip over the Pölvensattel between Mittagskogel and Kleinem Pölven as well as the Reiteralm and finally a forest road back to Reith.
