A sport and fun climbing route with rope bridge, abseiling point and a spider web. The Silzer via ferrata is more a climbing fun park than a classic via ferrata. Attention, the rope bridge is not suitable for smaller people, because the upper rope is not accessible for them. All passages can be bypassed or can be reached via alternative routes. The "stations" can also be walked in any order and direction. The access to the via ferrata with the two variants is very short and easy. The left via ferrata is (C/D) leads to the rope bridge (blue marking). After the rope bridge (B/C) you can abseil down to the spider (own double rope 50 m, abseiling device etc. required). Or after the rope bridge you can descend to the spider on the same way back. When walking on the spider's web or the ladder, a second person can secure you from above with an additional rope. The stands for this are available.
From the parking lot, continue along Simmeringstraße. At the warehouse turn right into Locherbodenweg and walk in the direction of the Walser quarry. After the highway bridge, the path on the left (west) leads in the direction of Grünberg, Simmering directly to the entrance of the via ferrata. The left variant begins directly on the hiking trail and is difficult (D), to the right variant at the foot of the wall slightly up to the right, the right variant is easier (B) than the left variant.
From the spider over the path back to the parking lot.
From the Inntal freeway A 12 Kufstein-Landeck, take the Mötz exit. Then drive on the B 171 to Silz into the town center. At the church turn right into Widumgasse. After the railroad underpass, continue straight ahead on Simmeringstraße and cross the Inn River.
Parking at the Crazy Eddy restaurant.
