The family climbing area "Flämenwandl" is directly in Leutasch/Puitbach, perfectly located at the shore of the Leutascher Ache (river) with a short access time of 5 minutes. The name derives from the Belgian team who drilled the bolts which made the climbing area accessible along with Thomas Wanner and Mauerfix. This is how over 20 tours were created, from easy one from 3 onwards up to a level of difficulty of 6b+. There are also seating accomodations and grills available. The proximity to the Leutascher Ache offers excellent conditions for a shared, eventful family climbing day.
You reach the climbing garden within 5 walking minutes from the north end of the parking space "Kletterplatz Puitbach". The path from the parking space has signposts.
By car: In Leutasch Weidach (at the information office) straight on over the bridge, direction Gasse. Turn right at the crossroads and follow the road towards Puitbach. The car park is on the right hand side before the bus stop.
By bus: From Seefeld take regional bus no. 431 to Leutasch Puitbach. From the bus stop, walk left past the car park and follow the signs to the climbing garden.
Free parking for about 10 cars available.
The Flämenwandl offers a total of 23 routes in the difficulty range 3a to 6b+.
