From the Verpeil Alm you follow the Dr. Angerer Steig to the Gsalltal. On the descent into the Gsalltal, you leave the hiking trail at the first best opportunity and cross into the rear Gsalltal. The start is at the lowest foothill of the easternmost plate pillar of the north face, which breaks off here to the gully between the central pillar and Schweikert. 1.5h from the Verpeil Alm

Approach

From the Verpeil Alm you follow the Dr. Angerer Steig to the Gsalltal. On the descent to the Gsalltal you leave the hiking trail at the first best opportunity and cross into the rear Gsalltal. From the summit follow the marked but partially exposed path to the Verpeil hut, about 1.5 hours.
