The Engetal lies between Grän and Pfronten. From the main road over the Achbach stream at the foot of the rock face, which is clearly visible from the road (approx. 2 minutes). You can see two different icefalls, depending on the conditions.
Coming from Pfronten in the Ostallgäu, you drive through the Achtal-Straße in the direction of Grän. About 1 kilometre before Grän there is a small car park on the right side of the road with a direct view to the wall. The icefalls can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
