Two impressive ice pillars above the Arzler Alm at the foot of the Rofelewand. The icefalls are located in high-Alpine terrain and are best reached with backcountry skis or snowshoes via the Arzler Alm.

By car: Coming from Wenns drive until the hamlet Piösmes.
By bus: Use the bus till the bus stop Piösmes.
At the end of the hamlet Piösmes is a free car park on the right-hand side.
Cross the bridge on the right hand side before the restaurant Gasthof zur Einkehr over the Pitze and follow the forest path towards the Arzler Alm. Turn to the Kreuzjoch at the sign. Pass by two hunting cabins and then go up to the Almboden and further to the icefalls. The icefalls are located in high-Alpine terrain and are best reached with backcountry skis or snowshoes via the Arzler Alm.
Descent: 3 hours into the valley. Via the Icefalls with Ablakov threads.
