Mittelberg / Taschachschlucht
In the Taschachschlucht, which is located near to the Pitztaler Gletscherbahn, you will find a beautiful, varied ice climbing garden with easy routes. There are also some mixed-routes which are secured with bolts. A total of approx. 50 - 60 lines.

By car: Coming from Wenns drive until Mittelberg, pass by the first bridge and drive up to the second one and park there.
By bus: Use the bus till the bus stop Mittelberg Gletscherbahn.
Drive until Mittelberg, pass by the first bridge and drive up to the second one and park there.
Coming from Wenns drive until Mittelberg and park at the Pitztaler Gletscherbahn. Pass by the first bridge and drive up to the second one and park there. From here descend into the gorge and follow it up the valley. After 10 is an ice pillar to the left. After another 10 minutes, you reach the ice climbing garden.
