2 family-friendly climbing gardens in the Innsbruck region

Innsbruck and its surroundings offer two family-friendly climbing gardens: Arzbergklamm in Telfs and Locherboden in Innsbruck. A fun and exciting climbing trip for the whole family is guaranteed!

  • Arzbergklamm climbing garden in Telfs (Weiher): The Arzbergklamm climbing garden in Telfs provides nine sectors with 72 routes. Due to its numerous easy routes, this climbing garden is also recommended to family with children. The type of rock is limestone. Even though the area is close to Telfs and the access hike is very short, it is not overcrowded.
  • Locherboden climbing garden: The small Locherboden climbing garden close to the Mieming sun plateau is well secured and offers 30 routes not harder than 5. For this reason, it is highly recommended to family with children. The short access hike is another plus point.
