To the Climbingoffer
Tannheimer Tal („Tannheim Valley“) is located in the North of Tirol and is known for its beautiful peaks such as Gimpel, Hochwiesler and Rote Flüh. This area is home to routes of all difficulties and beautiful via ferratas. Tannheimer Tal offers several sport climbing routes, multi pitches, two waterfalls for ice climbing and a high rope garden. The 200m high Southern walls were established around 1900. Although most of these old routes are well maintained, there are many alpine routes in Tannheimer Tal.
Tannheimer Tal, Europe’s most beautiful high valley, is midst the Allgäu Alps and offers a breathtaking scenery, possibilities for sport, culinary specialities and tradition. The region is characterised by its little authentic villages, crystal clear mountain lakes, beautiful hiking trails and diverse mountain bike routes.
In winter, Tannheimer Tal offers six skiing areas, superb cross country ski stracks and hiking trails through the whole valley, excellent hotels and premium events such as the international Balloon Festival or the Cross Country Ski Marathon. The six villages Nesselwängle-Haller, Grän-Haldensee, Tannheim, Zöblen, Schattwald and Jungholz welcome their guests all year round!
